FAQ

WHAT SHOULD WE WEAR?

I recommend neutral earthy tones. I am happy to send you some examples as a guide. Preferably nothing too busy. You’re more than welcome to send through an email/message of what you have if you need help deciding. In saying that I want you to be YOU! So if you have any ideas flick me a message.

WHAT IF WE ARE SICK OR IT RAINS?

If you/your children have more than just a little “sniffle” we will have to postpone, same goes for myself if I am unwell. If it’s overcast or a very light sprinkle we will still go ahead. If it’s raining we will have to postpone

WHO CAN ATTEND MY SESSIONS/CAN WE BRING THE WHOLE FAMILY?

I don’t often offer large extended family shoots (aunties, uncles, grandparents etc). I prefer to focus on the intimate bond of your immediate family (mum, dad, children).

However, if you are after a shoot with children and their grandparents or you and your elderly mum etc please flick me an email to discuss more

HOW LONG UNTIL I GET MY PHOTOS?

Turnaround time is up to 4 weeks, depending on workload.

*** CURRENT UPDATE FOR MARCH-END APRIL SESSIONS (due to extremely busy season, sickness and personal situation turnaround time is 4-6 weeks from session date)

Please email me if you have any questions.

*Weddings have a longer time frame

WILL I GET ANY SNEAK PEEKS?

As great as they are I unfortunately am unable to guarantee sneak peeks from your session due to family life/workload.

DO YOU PROVIDE RAW FILES?

Editing is apart of my art, so I will not provide raw files.

DO YOU TRAVEL OUTSIDE OF THE SUNSHINE COAST?

I definitely can, but will need accomodation/travel paid for.

HOW DO I BOOK A SESSION?

Please head over to my ‘contact’ page to discuss a shoot and I will get back to you ASAP

ONCE OUR DATE IS CONFIRMED, WHAT’S NEXT?

Once your date has been confirmed a $200 deposit is required to hold your session date. The remainder is due 7 days before your session.

HOW DO I CHOOSE A LOCATION?

I can defiantly give you a few locations that I often shoot at. I am always looking for new places to shoot at though so if there is anywhere you have in mind please let me know. For newborn sessions they’re often at your own house, however it is totally up to you.

To give you some ideas, have a think about what you/your family loves to do, what tells your story. You could go to a camp site and have a fire or you could be by the beach and end the session with a swim, there is so much you could do that would be unique to your family.

WHAT IF MY CHILDREN MISBEHAVE OR HAVE A MELTDOWN DURING THE SHOOT?

I would be pretty amazed if they didn’t to be honest. It’s very normal and I know what it’s like, so don’t stress. If we need to we’ll take a minute. There will be plenty of time to capture beautiful memories with your babes.
